Transparency, Accessibility, and Accountability.

OxProx provides a public database showing how institutional investors have voted on ESG matters.

What is OxProx?

OxProx is a publicly accessible, global database of proxy voting records.

About OxProx

OxProx is your database of the world’s proxy voting records. Access the voting records of institutional investors, asset owners, and asset managers – from the annual general meetings (AGMs) held by publicly traded corporations.

OxProx is the first ever publicly accessible location to see, examine, and compare proxy voting records by asset owners and asset managers. Voting in corporate elections was originally conducted in-person, but is now more often done by proxy using a mail-in or electronic ballot.

Voting has taken on additional importance as environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues challenge corporations and are raised by shareholders and stakeholders. OxProx makes the necessary records to assess ESG factors accessible to the public.

OxProx And Social Impact

By improving access and transparency of investor proxy voting, OxProx is actively creating a positive social impact. OxProx is a member of Social Enterprise UK, and is committed to achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, specifically goals 5 and 8.

Contributing to Achieving Sustainable Goal 5

Girl Power USA is a non profit organization dedicated to providing opportunities to brilliant and capable young women, men, and non binary individuals globally. OxProx has partnered with Girl Power USA in creating positive social impact by employing the services of Girl Power USA members, many of whom are CFA candidates or CFA charterholders in developing markets.

Contributing to Achieving Sustainable Goals 5 and 8

By improving access and transparency of investor proxy voting, we expect the OxProx database to have a positive social impact. We also strive to be an impactful employer and to this end have engaged the services of Girl Power USA Foundation, a not-for-profit based in the US but with operations primarily in developing countries.
